I recently moved, and there are no Wachovias nearby. When my CD time expired, I wanted to cash it out and put it in a local bank. Wachovia, closed the account, sent me a letter stating that they sent a check, but they actually did not send the check. They decided to hold the check instead. For some reason, they did not update this one account when I changed my name back to my maiden name. I own multiple accounts with this bank. All the other info matches. Now they won't send my check. A series of sloppy work and combative representatives and mailing letters with straight up lies!
