I chose TradeKing

I switched from (I won't name them) another brokerage that charged more. I like TradeKing's tools and their platform has been really easy to use. I especially like their community. Nothing like it out there where you can see actual trade information so there's no B.S. or claims from people. It's out there for anyone to see.

Not for Dividend Re-investors

I must admit the 4.95 trade execution attracted me to TradeKing. The DID have a quality Dividend reinvestment program until they changed clearing house companies. They stopped servicing dividend reinvestments on REITS and Royalty Trusts (ie. BPT, PBT). They also stopped reinvesting fractions of a share. They promised a 25.00 credit for my troubles and not letting me know about this issue ahead of time, but never received it. i normally would rate this POOR, but their customer service was excellent and speedy.

ACH deposit

Trying to set up an ACH deposit with them, nothing but problems, and I'm already an established account holder. I faxed them (twice now) with the required documents and they claim they can't read the fax. I changed my account to accommodate them and they want more. Their electronic customer support stinks!

As far as I am concerned, since I am younger than 21 I am not allowed to open an account, thats why I don't like it... but my Grandpa uses a Tradeking and he feel like its the quality grade of TD Ameritrade at half the price.

Trade King is one of if not the best discount broker out there. The only time I pay have every had to pay anything is for a comission o a trade. (which is as low as it gets). Support has promptly answered any questions i have asked them. There website is very easy to navigate and highly intuitive. They claim to watch out for the little guy and I have had an account there for more about 2 years now and they have followed through on that promise to date.

I wanted to open an account at Tradeking but unfortunately, they discriminate non-US Citizen. First time in 13 years that I have been a Resident of USA and maried to an US citizen that I face this stupidity. I am from France but if I was a French polynesian or other french territories, they would!!! Lake of information and they would not try to get the right information.
Well, I work and pay my tax in USA since 13 years, I opened any kind of accounts else where but TradeKing WON'T!!! Sorry but when I get my USA citizenship next month, they won't see a dime from me!
