Scottrade Trade Does Have Hidden Fees

I have been with Scottrade for over 3 years and Scottrade is ok but not the best. One of my biggest complain about Scottrade is that they charge you a 0.03 cent every time you sell a stock. The 0.03 cent can add up if you do a lot of buy and selling.

Buying stock is $7 and selling is $7.03. So the total is $14.03 for both buying and selling a stock.

You should check out TradeKing and MB Trading because both offer $4.95 for commission.

If you are a technical analysis kind of person who uses the chart often then Scottrade is not for you because their chart is very limited. Their chart is ok but could be improve.

You should research online brokers thoroughly before signing up.
